2. RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme: We also support applicants to apply for the RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship that aims to encourage doctoral graduates in pursuing career in research and provide promising researchers with support at a pivotal time in their very early career.

 To apply for a Ph.D. student position (1. computer vision and robotics; 2. mechatronics)

1. Robotics: Strong experience in computer vision (real-time image processing), robotic control, and software development skills.

2. Smart Sensor and Actuators: Experience in device design and microfabrication and experience in building circuits and embedded control systems.

• Ph.D. Admission time: Flexible

• Master Degree: Not required, we also welcome undergraduate candidates with high-GPA and strong track records to apply for direct-Ph.D. study.

• HKPFS Scholarship: Ph.D. applicants are highly encouraged to apply for the HKPFS fellowship that can offer a higher salary. The HKPFS 2025/26 calls for applications from 1 September 2024 to 1 December 2024.
